ProMax

ProMax is an OMRI-Listed®, EPA-exempt broad-spectrum soil biopesticide that delivers both fungicidal and nematicidal protection in a single liquid application. Formulated with 3.5% thyme oil in a carrier of water, molasses, and glycerin, ProMax is fully organic and safe for use throughout the entire growing season — including up to and including harvest day.

For potato growers, ProMax is a standout tool. Root-knot nematodes and cyst nematodes are among the most damaging and costly pests in potato production, causing stunted plants, deformed tubers, and yield losses of 10–80% in heavily infested fields. Soil-borne fungal diseases — Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium spp., and Pythium — further compound losses, especially in cool, wet soils at planting. ProMax addresses all of these with a single OMRI-certified product that leaves no residue and requires no re-entry interval.

ProMax works on contact, disrupting fungal spore germination and inhibiting nematode motility on contact. It activates natural plant defense mechanisms, providing both protective and curative action. Critically, ProMax has no documented cross-resistance, making it an effective rotation partner in resistance management programs.

Applied via drip tape, soil injection, broadcast incorporation, or side-dress band, ProMax integrates seamlessly into existing programs. It is tank-mixable with most insecticides, miticides, fungicides, herbicides, and fertilizers — no special handling or restricted-use certification required.
