Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering bulk biological farm inputs from BulkFarmer.com.
What sizes do you carry?
We carry AgConcepts products in 2.5-gallon jugs, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 275-gallon IBC totes, and 330-gallon IBC totes. Availability varies by product. Drums and totes are our most popular sizes and are always in stock for core products like AgZyme, Super Hume, and Charge.
How does shipping work?
Drums and totes ship via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight. When you place an order, we arrange freight pickup and provide you with a tracking number once the shipment is booked. Lift-gate service is available if your delivery address does not have a loading dock or forklift — just add it to your order request. Smaller sizes (2.5-gal, 5-gal) may ship via standard parcel carriers. Estimated transit time is 5-10 business days for most US locations.
Are you an authorized AgConcepts dealer?
Yes. BulkFarmer.com is an authorized AgConcepts reseller. Every product we sell is genuine AgConcepts material sourced directly through the AgConcepts distribution network. We do not sell reformulations, substitutes, or third-party alternatives. If you have any question about product authenticity, contact us and we can provide documentation.
What is the difference between biological and synthetic fertilizers?
Synthetic fertilizers deliver specific nutrients (N, P, K) directly to plants but do little to improve soil biology. Over time, heavy synthetic use can suppress beneficial soil microbes and degrade soil structure. Biological fertilizers, by contrast, work by feeding and activating soil biology — beneficial bacteria, fungi, and enzymes that make nutrients already present in the soil available to plants. Biological inputs complement or reduce synthetic programs rather than replacing them overnight. Most farms start by adding a biological layer to their existing program and reduce synthetics over 2-4 seasons as soil biology rebounds.
Do you have minimum orders?
No. There is no minimum order on BulkFarmer.com. You can order a single 2.5-gallon jug or a full pallet of totes. That said, drum and tote pricing gives you significantly better per-gallon economics, and freight costs are fixed regardless of load size, so larger orders are more cost-effective.
How do I use a 275-gallon IBC tote?
IBC totes come with a 2-inch ball valve at the bottom. Most farms use a transfer pump to move product from the tote into a nurse tank, sprayer, or mixing vessel. Totes sit on a pallet and can be moved with a standard forklift or pallet jack. Many farms set the tote on a stand or elevated surface so they can gravity-feed into tanks below. Always rinse equipment immediately after use — biological products can clog tips and lines if allowed to dry. Store totes out of direct sunlight and away from freezing temperatures.
What crops do your products work on?
AgConcepts products are used on all major US crops including corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, cotton, sorghum, rice, tomatoes, potatoes, and tree fruits. We have product recommendations and application rate guides for specific crops available on each product page. If you grow a specialty crop not listed, contact us — we can pull AgConcepts data for your situation.
How long does shipping take?
Standard delivery is 5-10 business days from the date your order ships. Remote areas or locations requiring special freight routing may take longer. Once your shipment is booked, you will receive a tracking number and estimated delivery window by email. If you need expedited shipping, contact us before ordering to discuss availability and cost.
Can I get a quote for large orders?
Yes. If you are ordering multiple totes, a full pallet, or want to discuss an annual supply agreement, use our bulk quote request form at /bulk-quotes. We can provide pallet-rate pricing, freight estimates, and volume discount information. Large orders may qualify for additional savings beyond our standard bulk pricing.
